Request a Landscaping Assessment

To help TreeLine Wild Fire Defence understand your property’s layout and vegetation profile, please provide the details below. This helps us prepare for your on-site visit and ensures we start the project with a clear understanding of your goals.

About Your Property

Start with a few basics so we know who you are and where the property is located. We’ll only use this information for this assessment and project planning.

Approximate Lot Size

Choose the option that best reflects your total property area. This helps us estimate travel time, debris volume, and the size of the work zone during your landscaping project.

  • Under 0.25 acres – Small residential lot, short runs, minimal walking.
  • 0.25 - 0.5 acres – Typical residential lot with moderate walking and clearing.
  • 0.5 - 1 acres – Larger lot with more time moving equipment and debris.
  • 1 - 2 acres – Multi-zone lot with higher travel and clearing time.
  • 2+ acres – Very large or multiple properties with heavy time requirements.
  • Not sure – If you’re uncertain, we’ll confirm during the site visit.

Site Conditions & Environment

These questions help us understand what it actually feels like to move around your property. Think about how easy it is to walk through the yard, how thick the plants feel, and whether there are clear paths or areas that are hard to reach.

Vegetation Density in Summer

Imagine walking through your yard in July. Choose the option that best describes the amount of plants, shrubs and small trees.

  • Light – Mostly grass or a few small shrubs. Easy to walk anywhere without brushing past plants.
  • Moderate – Some bushes and smaller trees. A few areas feel “bushy”, but you can still move around without trouble.
  • Heavy – Thick brush or lots of shrubs and young trees. You often have to push branches aside to walk through.
  • Overgrown – Very dense growth. Hard to walk through, feels like the forest is taking over, and visibility is low.
  • Not sure – Select this if it varies or is difficult to judge; we’ll assess on site.
Terrain Type

Think about how level the ground is and how easy it is to move around the property.

  • Flat – Very easy to walk across; no noticeable slope.
  • Gentle slope – Mild uphill or downhill areas, but generally easy to move around.
  • Steep slope – You feel like you’re hiking. Requires care to walk safely.
  • Mixed terrain – Some flat areas, some steep, uneven sections, rocks or natural obstacles.
  • Not sure / Other – Use if you’re unsure or the terrain feels unusual.
Equipment Access

This describes how easy it is to bring tools or wheelbarrows to different areas on your property.

  • Good access – We can walk straight to most areas with tools. Clear paths or open yard.
  • Limited access – Some narrow paths, steps, or areas where equipment must be carried by hand.
  • Poor access – Long walking distances, steep ground, tight spaces, or obstacles that make carrying equipment difficult.
  • Extreme access – Very steep, slippery, rocky, or heavily obstructed areas. Only reachable on foot with effort.
  • Not sure / Other – Choose this if your access varies or you’re uncertain.
