FireSmart-Aligned Landscaping That Reduces Risk from Day One

The Foundation Layer of Property-Level Readiness

Why Defensive Landscaping Matters for Wildfire Resilience

Wildfire risk around the home is shaped by compounding landscape conditions: fuel buildup, spacing, debris, and how vegetation connects to structures.

Treeline Wildfire Defence focuses on reducing these ignition pathways while preserving the character of the property. Many homes already have well-maintained landscapes that simply need refinement to perform better in dry conditions.

Defensive landscaping is not about stripping a yard back. It is about guiding the landscape toward a lower-risk, more resilient condition using practical, FireSmart-aligned decisions.

Landscaping forms the foundation of effective property-level wildfire readiness, supporting everything that follows.

All recommendations are property-specific and developed through the Treeline assessment process. Scope and level of work are determined based on site conditions, risk profile and long-term maintenance goals.
